In this years performances, South Jersey's young stars are joined by World Renowned artists like, Karen Callaway Williams (Lincoln Center Performer, Touring member of Riverdance), Maurice Chestnut (from Carnegie Hall and Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk).
Fred Vasallo, Co-Director and choreographer, has adapted the classic holiday favorite, "remixed" the story through a new and dynamic perspective which uses a combination of drama, music and urban HIP HOP dance. For anyone who "loves the dance", this newer, modern version of The Nutcracker will inspire you. Fred Vasallo's choreography is pure joy in motion! This production will appeal to a wide variety of audiences both young and old alike - it will certainly inspire a whole new generation of theatergoers! This is a great opportunity to enjoy a new version of a classic holiday event with the whole family in the storybook atmosphere of the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood.
